  • Swedish Massage

Swedish massage is more of a rest and relaxation massage that focuses on improving circulation of blood and relaxing superficial muscles. This massage consists of a specific set of massage movements: effleurage, or sliding movements: petrissage, or kneading movements; friction or rubbing as well as vibration and percussion. It can also include passive and active joint movements, stretching and bending joints with the assistance of the massage therapist.

  • Deep Tissue Massage

    30 mins. $63   |  60 mins. $83  |  90 mins. $110

Deep tissue massages focus on connective tissue, and the goal is to produce changes in movement and posture. A deep tissue massage focuses on stretching fascia, (a three-dimensional web of connective tissue that surrounds, supports and penetrates all of the muscles, bones, nerves and organs). Deep tissue massage works layer by layer through connective tissue and muscles down to the deepest accessible layers to change posture and create freedom of movement by releasing facial adhesions and chronic muscle contracture. During a deep tissue massage, the therapists will use their fingers, thumbs, fists, forearms and elbows to stretch each muscle and facial layer. Deep tissue work creates micro-tears in the fascia, which fill with elastin and collagen in about three days, creating muscles that are more flexible, supple and have greater range of motion. This massage is a must for athletes.

  • Hot Stone Massage

    60 mins. $90  |  90 mins. $110

stone massage is a natural therapy in which very warm stones are first positioned on parts of the body to help penetrate into your deeper body tissues and help open up blood vessels which can result in improved circulation. • Myofascial Massage

Myofascial therapy relieves soft tissue restrictions that cause pain. *Because the purpose of using cups to draw blood to the skin Cupping is not recommend for those with bleeding disorders or taking anticoagulants. Please check with your Physician before scheduling your cupping session*

An ancient Chinese practice, Cupping therapy uses suction and negative pressure rather than applying pressure to the muscle as practiced in traditional massage therapy to provide a wide range of health benefits. This gentle suction helps encourage blood flow, draw toxins from deep within the muscle and tissue to stimulate healing as well as loosen muscle, anti-inflammatory, clear respiratory congestion, relieve pain, remove energy blockages, invigorate local circulation, relieve stress, improve digestion, and helps to remove and eliminate cellulite. Because of the suction, there is a chance that the cups will leave a slight "bruise" or soreness. These bruises are caused by the toxins being drawn from muscle and pooling under the skin, waiting to be eliminated through the Lymph System. Bruises should not last more than 1-2 weeks, depending on your level of stagnation and toxicity. The muscle discomfort you may experience is a result of the muscles and connective tissue being loosened. These bruises and soreness are actually a sure sign of a successful treatment, having helped remove toxins and stagnation from your muscles. It is extremely important to stay well hydrated after your Cupping session. You will want to flush these toxins from your Lymph System as quickly as possible (by hydrating) to avoid soreness and/or illness.
